the #tsltakesonmorocco tour
What Is The
This tour is a tribute to this beautiful country that I've been blessed to call home for the last three years. It's more than just another "Morocco Holiday" tour. From meeting local Sisters, to soaking in the sights, sound and smell of the traditional Moroccan Souk, dressing up in regal, fit-for-a-queen Kaftans, having mini "good-for-your-soul" workshop sessions, praying in congregation in some of the most beautiful Mosques and not to mention the 24/7 onslaught of stunning Moroccan Architecture - this tour will hopefully re-awaken your senses & inspire you to see life with a whole set of new eyes, In Sha Allah.
The Story Behind
I've been living in Morocco for the last 3 years and it has shaped me to be who I am today. Being married to a Moroccan, working with the people of this Kingdom, and forming beautiful friendships with beautiful people from this country has made me to be unconsciously protective of Morocco. And this is half of the reason why I wanted to do this tour - because I want you to see Maghreb for herself, not through some dodgy street guides, but through her beautiful landscape, amazing architecture, and her immensely rich history and culture.
I also feel I have this sense of responsibility to take care of you - anyone of you sisters, who visits Morocco. Someone jokingly said that my home could be a Singapore Consulate in Morocco as my home has hosted quite a number of Sisters from Singapore more than a couple of dozen times. And yes, I do want to keep hosting Sisters from Singapore, but it's just logistically impossible.
Many small occurrences has happened throughout these 3 years until one day, I sat up and decided, "OK Aida. This is a sign. You have to do a Morocco Tour for TSL. Khair, In Sha Allah."
