A Private Conversation On:
balancing marital responsibilities
while treasuring self care + self worthiness.
Ladies, have you ever felt so physically and emotionally drained as you try to juggle all of your hats and play the role of an endearing wife and a loving mother? "But it's all worth it!" you say, although you know for a fact your energy is quickly depleting, your heart's disconnected and your mind starts wandering off to do the next thing on your never-ending to-do list.
Being "selfless" and "sacrificing significantly" are two synonyms that are often associated to being a wife and mother. But how do we ensure our hearts are always full, and our personal needs are met when most of our time is spent caring and serving the people closest and dearest to us? How do we ensure that our relationship with Allah is ever growing and present when 24 hours seems to fly by and is barely enough to even do the bare minimum?
Join us as we slowly peel through the layers of what makes us, wives, steadily balance our marital responsibilities while trying to protect and treasure our self-love and self-worthiness.
